Camp Bluebird, sponsored by Forrest General Hospital, is in its 29th year of operation, as an event for adult survivors of cancer. The Hattiesburg Elks have been a supporter for the last 10 years, mostly providing a Bingo game for the participants. That effort has been headed by Hugh McGowen, and this year they did Bingo for 140 participants. Walter Hearn provided Pontoon Boats Rides for 60 participants. Several other Elks were there to help. Hoop shoot practice court at the Kid's camp is almost complete!! Goal to be placed at tomorrow's work day. Painting projects also to be completed and some minor repairs. Should be a short day. Come help if you can.
