ENF Update May 2018

Hello my fellow Elks. I hope this article finds everyone in good health and in good spirits. I am proud to report that Mississippi came in fourth place in the nation for per capita giving for elks national foundation. I would like to thank each member and each lodge for all of their fundraising efforts this year. Gulfport lodge came in first place in our state with $39.43 per person in giving this year. Vicksburg lodge came in second place with $30.20 per person. Pascagoula lodge came in third place with $27.58 per person. Biloxi lodge came in fourth place with $16.73 per person. And the Canton lodge came in with $10.26 per person. I am pleased to announce that the anniversary grant for $1500 which was available last year will also be available in the upcoming 2018 2019 calendar year. The number of freedom grants has also been increased to 300 this year to help serve our veterans and their families. These grants are on a first come first serve basis. All grant applications for this year will open July 1 and close by December of this year. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out to me or visit elks.org/CIP.
