Mississippi State Elks Association Spring Convention - April 30 - May 3, 2026

We're excited to announce details for our upcoming Spring Convention in Vicksburg!

Hotel Information

We'll be returning to the Vicksburg Courtyard by Marriott, the same great venue we enjoyed last year. The hotel is located at 1 Underwood Drive, Vicksburg, MS 39180.

Room Rates

• Single or Double: $144.00 + 10% tax

• Triple: $154.00 + 10% tax

• Quad: $164.00 + 10% tax

• Suites: $164.00 + 10% tax

The hotel's Boardroom and one Executive King Suite on the first floor will serve as our hospitality area. We're permitted to bring our own food and beverages to this space.

Dining Options

The hotel features an on-site Bistro restaurant and lounge offering cooked-to-order breakfast, dinner, cocktails, and Starbucks coffee.

For those interested in exploring local restaurants, last year's favorites included Walnut Hill Restaurant, Brick Street Market, 10 South Restaurant, and Goldies BBQ.

Tentative Schedule

A detailed itinerary will be published next week. Key events currently scheduled include:

• Thursday, April 30: Special Deputy GER, District Deputy GERs, Vice Presidents North and South, Secretary, and President will welcome our State Sponsor Randy Shook and his wife Wanda. All MSEA members are welcome to attend.

• Friday, May 1: Trustee meeting at 5:00 PM at the hotel

• Saturday, May 2: Past State Presidents' luncheon at 11:30 AM at Goldies BBQ; evening banquet at Vicksburg Lodge (time TBA)

A ladies' itinerary will be shared at a later date.

Special Note

This will be Randy and Wanda Shook's first experience with Mississippi Elks hospitality, and we're looking forward to showing them a wonderful time! We're considering organizing a group tour of the Vicksburg National Military Park if there's sufficient interest.
